So it was over to the end of the year. Kent took farewell before 38 300 people on a full Tele 2 arena in Stockholm, and it was an emotional parting where Jocke Berg had a hard time keeping the tears away when he would present their bandkollegor.
— There are so many people who have been involved in this whole sick thing we have done. I can only say this: you know who you are, or how? he said in an emotional moment.
the Song list was marked by the band’s biggest hit songs, with the exception of a couple of side trips back in the archive. And the band’s last gig get straight through the positive, not to say overwhelming reviews of the major newspapers, even if the grade lands on fours.
Aftonbladet’s Markus Larsson writes that the first half of the concert felt that often as a gig, among others, but the turnaround came with "Without your breath". The song signals that it "really is a special night", and that the show then grows and the pressure increases until it strikes, lock for the ears. "They died with style", sums up Larsson.
the Swedish newspaper Expressen’s Anders Dahlbom expresses the same emotions, and writes that the band "leaves the present tense with consummate dignity," and also appoints "Without your breath" to the concert’s highlight, along with "the Man in the white hat (16 years later)". It is a "perfect summary" of all Kent was and is – "the drama, the flashbacks, the clenched fist".
the DN’s Nils Hansson describes the closure of the concerts as a "triumph" that should go down in history as "the best looking arenaturné a Swedish band have unveiled". The emphasis is on the newer material is, of course, according to the DN, because this is a band that has just grown with the years.
Fans also shared their feelings for the band on social media. "Kent has been involved in all the events of my little life. Funeral, hjärtekross, loneliness, infidelity, regret, freedom, depression, happiness, and love," writes a fan on twitter. "Good Kent, headstrong all the way into the tile, no encores," writes a visitor on Instagram along with a picture from the audience.
