Vilks visit to sharpen the security – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

With an hour’s notice increased security at the Göteborg book fair on Thursday, when the artist Lars Vilks, appeared, writes the daily News.

Vilks came to visit for the seminar on ” the journalist Niklas Orrenius book "the Shots in Copenhagen", which depicts a year in the Vilks track. Vilks visits made the seminar was moved to a different room with increased security.

— Lars Vilks himself has expressed a wish to visit the seminar "Vilks and freedom of expression" including him, ” says Birgitta Jacobsson Ekblom, head of communications for the Fair, to the DN.

Ekblom say that you cannot say no to someone who wants to visit the fair.

— It is the police who make a threat and risk assessment.

Lars Vilks has lived under death threats since he depicted the prophet Mohammed as a roundabout dog 2005.
