Lisa Nilsson ready Bathrobe – Swedish Dagbladet

Three decades since its inception, it is in the summer time for Sheeba revive Bathrobe again. Tickets for the show, which dominated the Swedish concert summers between 1986 and 1992, quickly sold out. Now there will be two more performances, on 28 and 29 July.

In addition, Lisa Nilsson jump on the bandwagon and is ready for all seven concerts. She was with 1990 and 1991, and is now making a comeback at Bathrobe scene along with Sheeba, Tommy Nilsson, Sanne Salomonsen, Mats Ronander and Nina Söderquist.

– We have a different focus as performers all. Lisa is perhaps the most sophisticated of us and complements the rest of the gang in a fantastic way, says Sheeba said.

After the revival of Bathrobe planned was also artist Peter Lundblad with one of the names. When he died in December last year, the idea was not to replace him, but instead allow different artists banquet concerts.

– I did not want to replace Peter, because I do not think you can do. I had loose plans to ask a few other old “badrockare” come and banquet different nights, and called Lisa. She wanted to be with, but added: “But then I want to be with every night!” And it was hard to say no to, says Midler.

Peter Lundblad will be capped at present under concerts by the ensemble singing together perhaps his most famous song, “Take me to the sea” from 1986. the song ended always Bathrobe concerts, and so it will be again this year.

“Take me to the sea” becomes our tribute to Peter. We’ll do the best we can, in our own way, to honor him and miss him a moment with the audience, says Sheeba.
