Six Pistols singer John Lydon, better known as Johnny Rotten, has had vision problems since he was in the band omen hit by meningitis.
The 60-year-old vision worsen and now he is afraid of going blind, reports the British media, according to Aftonbladet.
according to the punk icon, he can not read anything anymore, not even newspaper headlines.
– I had to wear glasses on stage so I do not fall off the edge, he told the Sunday Times.
Since he suffered meningitis as a child, he lay in a coma for six months. He woke up with severe memory loss, mental health problems and damage to both sight and spine.
– If I could not see the world around me so it would be a huge loss, he said.
