Emilia Clarke, who plays drakmodern Daenerys Targaryen, are frustrated with the criticism.

– There is much that is controversial, but that is what is so beautiful with “Game of Thrones,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

she believes that the series stands out with its many and various types of female portraits. It contains examples of women as sexual objects, women have no rights – and women who are “literally unstoppable” and have very much power, she said.

– why it pains me to hear people speak of “Thrones” without context and in an anti-feminisitiskt way – for it can not be done on this series, she says.

“Game of Thrones” sixth season has Nordic premiere on HBO on 25 april.
