Want UN force for cultural treasures – Swedish Dagbladet

– UNESCO has said yes to the culture blue helmets, says Italy’s Culture Minister Dario Franceschini, referring to the UN peacekeeping forces wearing blue helmets.

He added that 53 of UNESCO’s Member States voted in favor . After the Islamic state (IS) destruction of the Syrian Palmyra and other world heritage world can not stand by and watch, he says.
