Metallica is expected to sell out Ullevi Stadium – Swedish Dagbladet

When Metallica last performed in the one-day festival Stockholm Fields drew the collaboration with his colleagues in bands like Slayer and Danzig 51,863 visitors.

The audience is expected for the band turn when on Saturday occupies Gothenburg stadium Ullevi. Concert Tickets quickly sold out when released half a year ago, but 11 o’clock today released almost a thousand extra tickets.

– We know that many more want to see Metallica, says Kristofer Akesson, press manager at Live Nation.

The last time Metallica played at Ullevi Stadium, in 2011, attracted the tape around 56,000.

The concert is part of an ongoing tour. Last stop was the band on Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, a concert that got good reviews, among other things, the music magazine Rolling Stone. Tonight they play in the Norwegian mountains, leaving Gothenburg gig Nordic countries to travel on to Russia.

Metallica working on a sequel to his album Death Magnetic, released in 2008. The sound of the new album stand out from former Metallica Productions, according to the band itself.
