Catherine Hardwicke directed the first film in the “Twilight” series. Now she undertake yet another blockbuster youth novel. According to Variety, she should make a film of author Jerry Spinelli’s “Stargirl”.
The book was published in 2000 and revolves around the eccentric teenage girl, Susan, or Stargirl as she is also called, shaking of a school in Arizona in general and Classmate Leo in particular.
Catherine Hardwicke has also made films as “Lords of Dogtown,” “Thirteen” and “Red Riding Hood”.
