Max Martin gets music export price – Helsingborgs Dagblad

Max Martin gets Government’s Music Export Prize for 2014, writes Aftonbladet.

– He is one of Sweden’s real superstars, says Minister Mikael Damberg (S), which awards price, told the newspaper.

Meanwhile rewarded Martin with the government’s honorary award, which is usually awarded at the same time.

– This is the first time in music export price history that the same person also gets the government’s Honorary Award. And it is because he has given Sweden a unique position on the world map when it comes to music and music exports, says Damberg.

The producer and songwriter Max Martin, who’s real name Martin Sandberg, is one of the international music scene biggest names and behind hit songs like “dark horse” with Katy Perry and Shake it off “with Taylor Swift.

The prize is awarded in the afternoon. Other nominees were First Aid Kit, Tove Lo, Sabaton and Anders Hillborg . Last year the prize went to Avicii.
