“Transformers: Age of Extinction” pulled in the most money at the cinema in 2014. According to The Guardian played action movie with Mark Wahlberg in the lead role, in just over 8.4 billion SEK – largely because it was a success in China where it grossed 2.3 billion.
The great Chinese interest is partly due to parts of the film was shot in China and the Chinese movie stars like Li Bingbing appeared in supporting roles.
Second and third on the list is “Guardians of the Galaxy” by 6 billion recorded crowns and ‘Maleficent’ with 5.9 billion.
