Cinematographer died during Jackie Chan Recording – Aftonbladet

Hollywood. cinematographer Chan Kwok-hung was in the midst of filming of Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville’s upcoming film “Skip Trace” when production boat capsized.

The six films workers successful swim ashore.

It did not Kwok-hung.

The 51- year-old man was found unconscious. He never woke to life again.

The cause of death is reported to be drowning.

Neither Chan or Knoxville is said to have been present when the accident occurred.

Tenky Tin Kai-Man , President of the movie spouses organization in Hong Kong, argues that the tragedy could have been avoided.

– We discussed earlier this year and if we were to improve safety on movie sets. But this accident happened before we he do it, he says.

“Skip Trace” directed by Finn Renny Harlin and is expected to premiere at the end of next year. It is not clear how the fatal accident affect production.
