In the grounds writes Prize Committee: “As a screenwriter, entertainer and director Claes Eriksson gave us the stories of the Swedish everyday peculiarities and his accuracy has penetrated deep into the Swedish soul.”
Laureate moved over to be associated with his idol:
“Tage Danielsson is one of my biggest role models, why does this award extra,” says Claes Eriksson in a press release.
Tage Danielsson- the price is at least 50 000 and is awarded every two years. Previous winners include Hans Alfredson, Kristina Peace and Fredrik Lindström.
The award ceremony will take place in Linköping Stadsfest on 23 August.
